But the last straw finally came just before Christmas as Mr. Taylor and Ms. Collins were snuggled together on the sofa, when Ziggy suddenly blurted out, "I love you Gary," his voice a dead-ringer for Ms. Collins's.

"It sent a chill down my spine", Mr. Taylor told reporters on Monday. "I started laughing, but when I looked at Suzy I could tell something was up. Her face was like beet root and she started to cry."

Chris confronted Suzy, 25, his live-in girlfriend of two years and she told him: "I've got another man... named Gary."

Not only had she been cheating on Mr. Taylor for the last four months, she had been doing it right in front of his beloved pet. "It makes my stomach churn to think about what he might have seen them doing, "Mr. Taylor told our reporter.

In fact, in an interview with Ziggy himself, our reporter managed to shed some light on this issue.

"I've been trying to tell the dumb smuck for weeks but the poor sap just didn't want to listen." Ziggy told our reporter.

When asked if he had witnessed an X-rated love scenes Ziggy replied, "Oh sure! In fact one time I even saw a Cockatoo - or was it three?"

As for the unfaithful strumpet, Suzy told reporters that her affair with Gary is now over. And as her feelings for the parrot, she admitted: "I couldn't stand Ziggy and it looks now like the feeling was mutual."
