Public displays of affection even reached the frozen wastelands of Norway this week where a rather outgoing couple got into trouble with the authorities for "displaying their affection" a little too publicly. In fact, the "display" was performed live on stage during the Quart Festival in Kristians, Norway's largest annual music festival, during an appearance by a Norwegian band called The Cumshots, famous for their attempts to shock and outrage the general public.

Apparently, during their set, two environmental activists appeared on stage and started "displaying their emotions" in a variety of different positions.
And you thought Illinois Senate candidate Jack Ryan was crazy!
The couple, Tommy Holm Ellingsen and Leona Johansson (shown "in-action" on stage) actually run a porn site on the Web called "F*#k For Forest", which they claim to operate in an attempt to save rain forests around the world by donating the sites revenues to various environmental groups.
"F#*k for Forest!" (I thought that was something only Mrs. & Mrs. Gump would do!)
Oh well. I guess the recent wave of public displays of passion probably won't help us get PEACE ON EARTH after all. But one thing's for certain, even if it doesn't achieve anything else, at least it helped one Norwegian couple get a PIECE ON STAGE.
